2025 REMEDIAL BUILDING INDUSTRY
EXCELLENCE AWARDS

SYDNEY 10 OCTOBER 2025

Dear ACRA members,

Welcome to your 13th Biennial ACRA Awards for Remedial Building Excellence

We are pleased to announce that submissions are now open for the 13th biennial ACRA Remedial Building Industry Excellence Awards!

Projects encompassing all facets of the remedial building industry are eligible to enter. Submission for the Remedial Building Industry Excellence awards can include concrete repair, waterproofing, general refurbishment or other remedial works that demonstrate the breadth of experience and project challenges in our industry. ACRA’s Excellence Awards showcase our members’ outstanding work across a wide range of property sectors, including infrastructure and buildings.

We are looking for projects that are “Promoting Excellence in the Remedial Building Industry”, and encourage entries from all project values, whether it is a small but challenging $5,000 repair job or a large and complex $5,000,000 repair job.

Apart from entries to the Long-Term Performance Award for projects completed prior to June 2018, all other entries must have been completed between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2025.

Winners will be announced at the ACRA Awards gala evening, to be held on Friday, 10 October 2025 in Sydney NSW.

We look forward to receiving your entries and celebrating on the night.

Entries must be submitted by 1st July 2025.

Yours sincerely

Karen Amery
ACRA President

Award Categories

The following is a guide to how the award categories are determined:

  • 1. Entries will only be accepted from ACRA corporate members. Select the relevant industry, discipline(s) and contract value applicable to the project. You can nominate up to three (3) award categories for each project.
  • 2. Once all entries are received, the awards committee will organise the entries into ‘Award Categories’ so that like projects compete with like projects. For example, a $50,000 residential project will compete with projects of similar contract value and complexity.
  • 3. If two or less entries are received in a particular category, then the entry may be combined into another similar category to compete with projects of similar size and complexity. This may eliminate a particular category from the Awards.
  • 4. Entrants will be notified what category their application has been placed into once entries have been organised into Award Categories by the awards committee.
  • 5. Applications will then be submitted to the independent judging panel to determine the winners in each Award Category. Final categories are at the judging committee’s discretion.
