GENERAL
The Training Committee is established by the Board under Rule 42 to support ACRA’s delivery of high-quality, relevant training programs that advance skills and capability within the remedial industry.
The Committee meets monthly, is led by a President and Vice President, and its composition is reviewed annually after the AGM.
The Committee operates under delegation from the Board and must comply with confidentiality, meeting procedures, and ACRA’s communication policy (Rule 48).
SCOPE
Within the authority delegated by the Board, the Committee’s scope includes:
- Support the development and review of ACRA training courses, workshops, and CPD programs.
- Identify industry needs and recommend new training opportunities.
- Coordinate with the Technical Committee to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with Standards.
- Assist with securing presenters, subject experts, and venues (physical or online).
- Evaluate training feedback and recommend improvements.
- Support the promotion of training programs in collaboration with the Promotions Committee.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to the Board.
All activities are undertaken in compliance with meeting requirements (Rule 39) and proper record keeping (Rule 50).
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the Training Committee is to:
- Deliver high-quality, industry-leading training that enhances member capability and industry standards.
- Ensure ACRA training is accurate, relevant, and aligned with industry needs and regulatory requirements.
- Promote continuous professional development across the remedial sector.
- Strengthen ACRA’s reputation as a provider of trusted technical education.
