Michael is a Chartered Structural / Civil Engineer with 53 years-experience in the construction industry working on major building projects in United Kingdom, Middle East and in Australia. As the founder of MAJCON he brings 36 years of experience as a business owner in a private consultancy practice.

Michael has been a Director of the ASCE NSW since 2007 and in 2011 was elected President. He was awarded the ACSE Peoples Excellence Award in 2024.

He has attained Fellow status of the Institution of Civil Engineers and Institution of Engineers Australia (EA). In 2020 he was nominated to the National Structural College Board of EA.

Michael is a Registered Professional Engineer and Design Practitioner, (Structural, Civil, Drainage and Façade) for Class 2 buildings in accordance with the D&BP Act NSW.

Michael leads the MAJCON team of remedial engineers specialising in diagnostic assessment, repair specifications and contract administration as Superintendent for defective building projects to $7M.

He is part of the ACSE team in discussion with Building Commission seeking an education programme for site personnel in reinforced concrete construction.
