EVENT POSTPONED | ACRA VIC | Safety and Innovation in the Construction Industry

4 July 2024 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm AEST

Description

EVENT POSTPONED

Work health and safety (WHS) laws are put into place to protect the health, safety and welfare of employees, volunteers, and other people in a workplace. This seminar will highlight that while safety is serious, it doesn’t need to be complicated. Our WHS awareness can be used to build a strong safety culture and develop innovative systems to minimise risk. Our guest speakers will discuss practical implementations of site-based WHS controls, award-winning projects in high hazard environments, innovative investigation techniques for elimination of WHS risks, and the state-of-the-art in silicosis dust risk management.
