NSW – Building work levy from 4 July 2022
The NSW construction industry are being reminded that a building work levy for class 2 buildings, or buildings that have a class 2 part, will come into effect on 4th July 2022.
#Developers (as defined in the Residential Apartment Building Act) will be responsible for paying the levy.
#Certifiers can only issue an occupation certificate once the levy has been paid.
