QLD -New Silica Code of Practice is being enforced from 1st of May 2023
New Silica Code of Practice is being enforced from 1st of May 2023 in Queensland. The COP applies to EVERYONE within the construction industry. This means all ACRA Contractors, operators, labourers, concreters, waterproofers, builders etc.
Ignorance isn’t accepted as an excuse not to comply. If you haven’t already done so, it’s best to get ahead now and be ready for these changes. Although this COP only applies to Queensland, one can only assume other states will soon follow.
