Invitation to participate in Standards development Committee: ME-094 Mould and Water Restoration

Standards Australia is currently constituting Technical Committee ME-094 Mould and Water Restoration.

Standards Australia invites your organisation to nominate a representative to participate in the work of this committee.

Please advise ASAP whether you wish to participate and advise the name and contact details of your proposed representative.  Note that a balanced group of interested stakeholder organisations has been invited to participate, as shown in the attached Committee Constitution.

It is proposed that the Technical Committee will undertake work in the following area:

  • Modified Adoption of ANSI/IICRC S500 Standard for Professional Water Damage Restoration

Details of the first meeting of the Technical Committee will be advised once the constitution is finalised.  Face-to-face meetings are generally held at Standards Australia’s offices in Sydney.  However, in the interests of equity, where there are committee members from other states, one or more meetings may be held in other locations.

For effective participation in the work of the Technical Committee, it is desirable that whenever a face-to-face meeting is organised, Committee Members are able to attend the meetings in person; however, as this is not always possible, audio, video and web-conferencing facilities can be made available, so this committee is open to interested parties Nationally.

Should you require any further information regarding the work that the Committee will be involved in, please contact Ita via the details shown below.
